Inspired by the ancient myth of Narcissus, the project highlights the dangerous allure of self-absorption and its potentially catastrophic consequences. As society becomes increasingly self-centered, global issues such as air pollution are overshadowed, leaving the fate of the planet in peril.

In this speculative world, air has become a precious commodity, and people are forced to fight for their very existence. The GASP game is a brutal contest where the objective is to suck the air out of your opponent until they take their last breath. It's a game for survivors, or in this modern world, the more competitive one. But the game is merely a reflection of our society's hyper-competitive and individualistic culture, where success is measured by how much one can accumulate or outdo others.

The game symbolizes the brutal reality of a world where communal action and cooperation have been replaced by self-serving interests and the desire to come out on top. As air becomes scarcer, people will resort to stealing from each other to stay alive, leading to a world where there are no real victors. In the end, everyone will die from suffocation, as the world runs out of breathable air.

However, amidst this bleak landscape, there is still hope. The GASP project serves as a wake-up call, urging us to recognize the dangers of unchecked narcissism and the importance of working together for the common good. We must take collective action to address global challenges and create a more sustainable and equitable future for all. The choice is ours, will we succumb to our own selfish impulses or rise to the challenge of ensuring the survival of our species?
