I was asked to create a poster for “Injection 2023” with the theme being protest. The brief also included keeping it “positive”, fun and brave. I drew inspiration from the location, as it’s the most iconic post office in Kaunas! So I hid the mesage where it’s going to be located as a post stamp into my design. The scissors are a recognizable brand item that I couldn’t leave out.
It perfectly represents the idea that fashion has no limits, and we can push boundaries and be as creative as we want. And hey, why not use unusual materials, like the sky, to create unique designs? That's what the protest theme of the show is all about. There are no limits to how we express ourselves, so let's cut up the sky if we have to, and spread our message far and wide with a post stamp!
